tak entirely bodoh. the idea is brilliant. cuma some (maybe most) cases owner, member dia nak cepat kaya, tu yang buat program dia nampak bodoh.
ada je mlm yang bagus macam avon, herbalife, tupperware, etc..

dua sen aku. mlm is a form of distribution. actually, there is nothing wrong with it. semua distribution lain about the same.
source -> mlm level 1 -> mlm level 2 … -> in the end customer
source -> regional distribution -> more kedai… -> in the end customer
different representations of the pyramid.
cuma bile the business proposition goes like this, things are seriously messed up
“imagine u dapat 1000 downline.. pastu bawah each of them ada 1000 downline.. lepas tu semua orang bayar komisen XXX%..”
it is so easy to manipulate. mlm is people based, there is very little cost to create more levels… people will salivate in no time.
cuba tukar ayat tu camni
“imagine u bukak 1000 kedai…”.
it will immediately stop there since they will say “pale hotak ko nak bukak 1000 kedai, ko ingat aku cap duit ke…”
what needs to be knocked into ppl’s head is
basically the idea of market saturation.
MLM is capable of making money, and it is mathematically proven… but…
only if you stay on top.
and
try to calculate the percentage of those below and compare them to real life.

do a quick math. that’s 1 million. so in malaysia, if you’re really that lucky, boleh ada 27 orang je yang boleh jadi camtu (27 million). and even then, i would say it’s impossible!
this is what people usually fail to realize.
another interesting point, assume the suspect MLM uses such sales pitch. here’s an interesting experiment = substitute whatever that they’re selling with.. say.. shit.
no seriously.

and if you follow the MLM’s math, it doesn’t really matter what you sell, you still get the hyped-up returns! whoa gilelah!
kesimpulannya:
if you join MLM because everyone is crazily chanting the mantra illogical number of downlines, more downlines, more downlines… that’s a wrong reason to join. it’s not even MLM, it’s a glorified get-rich-quick scam.
if not, then it’s your call, and you should know better why you join, and i’ll respect that.

Aku pernah dengar directly daripada sorang owner of an MLM company yang start MLM from zero until dah jadi millionaire. Then, dia pulak create company and produk yg bagi aku bodoh2 je. Waktu tu company dia baru je formed and semua yg datang preview night (a.k.a malam markaz) tu kira semua yg bakal jadi pioneers la. Dia cakap camni lebih kurang,…
“MLM ni jangan buat lama2. You cari satu MLM company yang baru and you pukul habis dalam 4 bulan je buat sales. You dapatkan 3 org je downline yg betul2 buat kerja. Lepas tu dah, stop and gi join MLM baru yg lain pulak Then, mmg you are enroute to be a millionaire”.
Terang2 dia punye MLM memang somehow nak scam orang. Nak pitch ajak masuk MLM company dia la sebab dia punye baru.
So samah, kau punye point yg org atas je la yg betul2 boleh buat duit tu mmg valid la bagi aku. Lebih2 lagi, kalau commission structure dia dia jenis ‘unlimited downline’ or yg seadik-beradik dengannya.
On the other hand, aku agree dgn Akmal yg MLM ni brilliant idea sebenarnya. Yg menconteng arang to MLM is people macam org yg aku jumpa tu. Herbalife, Amway, Avon antara contoh yg bagus gunakan MLM ni dengan baik.
In fact, for Aidan Marketing Solution SB pun aku ada target nak ada AJL license sendiri and operate macam Network 21 yg handle MLM for Amway tu. For me, diorang mmg bagus la.

bagi aku mlm yg bagus, macam yang aku cakap earlier, is mlm yg sustainable, ada real product, ada proper company (kalau listed lagi bagus), ada back by full team as normal companies.
tapi kalau mlm yang baru kuar sebulan dua, office kat mane pun korang tak tau, website pun hampeh, product takde quality, then boleh kata tu mlm bodoh.

Takut korang dok masyuk ke hulu ke hilir buat marketing and sale…tetiba dapat tau KPDNHEP datang raid company tu. Maka habis la commission korang yg beribu-ribu tu yg company tu belum reimburse.
Bersangka baik is good. Berhati-hati pun sangat penting. Jangan bersangka buruk or terlalu over skeptical dah. InsyaAllah we’ll be a more open minded person.
Dunia ni manusia lebih mudah ditipu daripada menipu.

Kalau company tu suruh carik downline je, bayar join besar sampai rm500 - rm2000, and then tak yah beli barang, yang tu scam @ tipu. Tapi kalau tengok mlm macam avon, Cosway, Tupperware, Amway, Network21, CNI, DCL atau macam2 company yang masih hidup dan kukuh hingga ke hari ni, well, saya fikir berbaloi untuk join their team.
